St. Paul’s Cathedral

Next on our list was St. Paul’s Cathedral. This was another site that we couldn’t take pictures in. I also really don’t have any great photos of the outside, so here’s a photo I found online.

There were different levels inside St. Paul’s, but I stayed on the first level. Brady claimed the 600 or 1,000 or some-odd step trip to the next level towards/in the dome.

It was really great to look at all the different architecture and artwork. Like it was a truly religious experience. I have a friend who went here and said she felt encompassed in spirituality just being there even though she does not follow any religion. The history of the place (hundreds of years) and the religious artifacts are just awe-inspiring. It was definitely a highlight.
