Accommodations
With Wanderlust Adventures you will stay in locally owned guesthouses and basic hotel rooms. By staying in these establishments, we are able to directly contribute to the local economy. Rooms are based on double and sometimes triple occupancy. You definitely won’t be lonely.

Currently we are offering trips to Honduras, Guatemala and Costa Rica.

Lending a Helping Hand
During our trips we are given the privilege to help other people. Some of these trips may include:

  • Providing food for a local family and sharing a dining experience with them
  • Delivering food and school supplies to a local school
  • Visiting an impoverished village and bringing food and supplies
  • Visiting a nurshing home
  • Sharing supplies with a local orphanage

Wanderlust is partners with an organization who have adopted a village in the rural mountains of La Ceiba, Honduras. By participating in our trips you will be helping us contribute needed supplies directly to that village. Be a part of the amazing progress we are making.

The Wonderful Food
Our trips do not always include all of your meals and this is to ensure that your specific dietary needs are met. The variety of delicious food that you will find in these countries is not always what you are used to, but that is part of the experience. Part of the adventure is trying something new and that includes the food.

Flexibility
I have heard my father say for the past 27 years that flexibility is the key. Daily events may have to be switched around in the event of weather or local events. If we have to make changes, it is to give you the best trip possible and everything will be fantastic if you can just stay flexible!

Group sizes
The maximum group size that we take is 15 people with an average of 10. With smaller groups, we are invited into more homes and are able to have more of a one on one experience with the locals. At Wanderlust Adventures, we just don’t want anybody going home and not being able to remember someone in the group because they didn’t have a chance to get to know everyone.

Culture
The history, religious beliefs, traditions, language, agriculture, and economics are all a part of the culture. It’s amazing to learn about all these different features first hand. We will be able to experience new dialects and hear great stories from locals that have seen things that we have never seen. By immersing ourselves into the culture, we are broadening our perspectives on life while gaining knowledge.

Experienced Leaders:
Though all of our leaders are well trained, they all have one thing in common: their energetic sense of adventure. Our leaders have a passion to make our trips unforgettable and life changing. They are the best!
